Shannita Williams is a Digital Media Strategist who helps individuals and organizations discover their online persona. 

A music industry veteran, Shannita has worked as an editor for music industry trade publications HITS and Urban Network where she worked with record labels and musicians to break numerous hip-hop and R&B artists, she has also been a writer and editor for mainstream music publication including Rap Sheet, Rap Pages, Vibe, Variety, has created bios and promotional materials  from everyone from rappers to opera divas, and was a promotions and marketing executive for LAUNCH.com (now Yahoo Music) where she was instrumental in developing on to the first urban music streaming channels.

After leaving the mainstream music industry, Shannita made the transition to classical music and developed the social media presence for LA Opera, the 3rd largest opera company in the United States.  Currently, through her company Creative Soul Media, Shannita works with the Los Angeles County Arts Commission and the iconic Ford Theatres where she is responsible for their social and digital media strategy.

Shannita is an ACTIVATE Arts Advocacy Leadership fellow, and in her spare time is on the Board of Directors for the SoLA Food Coop whose mission is to bring a fill service organic grocery coop to South Los Angeles.

Shannita holds a degree in Communications in from California State University Northridge.
